I just read this thread about not being able to ship gas cylinders, yes you can. If you have all of the relevant safety labels on you can ship them with normal carriers. You get full size cylinders being shipped.
How much gas is there at usage rates in a litre of compressed gas?, and how many litres are in the popular cylinder sizes. I cant find this anywhere. If you talk about 10L cylinder and use 14 l/min you don't have long.
Just £39 to you mate, delivered! Although not the best stuff to use, CO2 can usually be obtained through your local friendly Landord! Be carefull, however, as some of the pub gases contain Nitrogen which is not good for welding with.

Now, strictly speaking Mr.Plod, the cylinders are the property of the Brewery and not for re-sale or third party use so I don't know how you would deal with that one legally!

Ah, but if the bottle legally is not his then he can't sell it to you. The bottle remains the property of the original owner. If it can be proved that he did not own the bottle because it is stamped "Property of BOC - Not for Re-Sale" then your never going to convince a magistrate that you were not handling stolen goods.Well, I bought it off this guy in a pub.... honest. He said he didn't want it anymore and I could have it for £10 cos his mum was ill in hospital and he needed money for the train to go and visit her. Its the truth!!
