Yeah, he had his own spin off series. Think he made a car to race against the Richard . Didn’t really keep up with the programme

It does show how products have moved on, in the original they no issues smoking up the tyres yet the one they built had almost twice as much horse power and it just left some tyre marks but no smoke.
I dread to think what it cost to shut roads in San Fran for 3 days unless they did it as a favour.

If you've got $15m it doesn't matter.
But I suspect the production Company would pay, so it'd be a tax-deductible expense anyway, lost among all the other $000,000s on the P & L account.

I have given up on most of those American car shows apart from Chasing classic cars, which is unique in that it does not have any of this fake made up drama. Its actually quite sober by American standards.
That Fantomworks thing is another ball of muck, the fella who owns the place comes across as a po-faced bully, with the charisma of a turnip.

And there’s a new series on Yesterday tonight. “War Factories” is on at 8.00, and looks worth a watch. Tonight features Vickers, so should be good.
Seen the clips, while a good idea for a programme, it suffers from the politically correct thing in that they have to have a woman on it. They do but she seems to be reading it off paper and doesn't appear interested in the subject.
