Gas line connectors

Hello people.

I wonder if anyone knows where I can get a quick release connector (like an airline PCL) to go between the cylinder and machine. Could I actually use a PCL one?
I want one for my TIG. I don't like leaving it in the garage - damp, dusty, expensive & easily portable!

Yes you could use a PCL; if you have a Machine Mart nearby they sell them, but I'm sure other places do too.

Some machines come already fitted with quick connectors, two of mine have the PCL MINI series, which seem to be part of a group that are interchangeable with several other makes, I.E
Rectus 21
Camozzi mini
Norgren 233
Legris 21
Schrader Mini
Cejn 50

If it is on the low pressure side of things.
I paid £8.50 for a calor gas brass quick release coupling at a caravan place locally a few weeks ago

Well I've got a pack of 5 and they look excellent quality.
Fitted one to the tig's gas pipe and it works very nicely.

I wish I had seen the link to the site before I went back to the same place and purchase another two complete connectors at the £8.50 price each .

I've also got a Tee piece as well , to run BBQ & paella pan at the same time for seaside barbies .

I'm now been able to use only one propane cyl for BBQ , lead melter rings patio heater and paella pan etc...

Follow up.... and OMG it's been almost a month since I posted (and used the tig, pin welding today)
Grabbed the bottle today from my garage and the pressure's still in the line.
Yes I'd closed the main valve on the bottle.
This puppy hasn't squeaked, not one jot.

I just used a airline couplings with no bother.
keep checking them for leaks so far so good.
been using them for about 3 months now and they are cheapish!

Not burnt ......just well done in some areas

Theres one on my ESAB caddy mig, works fine, dont know what type is is and dont anything to compair it with other than airline fittings.
