gas leak in torch, 105EN

Hi, first post!

I just started using gas on my 105EN and have found that there is a gas leak in the torch, about 2l/m with no pressure on the trigger.

Is this normal or can you get a replacement valve anywhere?

Try taking the valve block apart and clean and oil it (I'd suggest silicone lube on the o-ring.) If that does not work:

Hi, I got the valve block out of the handle but it is not obvious how to get the valve out of the block, any pointers?

There were three parts in the valve body, the two brass parts and a spring which immediately few out and disappeared into a dark corner of the garage.

I cleaned up the dirt on the stem and the valve body, greased it up, took the spring out of a pen and cut it in half and pressed it all back together in a vice. It now works perfectly.

So that is £23 saved along with a few days waiting time.
