Gas Bottle Storage / Use

Probably a really stupid question but please forgive my ignorance

I have just got myself some garage gas (argon/co2 mix) and i am wondering if it should be used stood up or led down ?

I've yet to modify my welding trolley to take the gas bottle and i don't like the idea of it stood up with nothing to stop it falling

So until i can get away from the wife and kids and into the garage to mod my trolley can i use it on the deck ?

Gas under pressure like yours can be used upright or horizontal. Gas stored as liquid like propane, acetylene or neat CO2 should be upright.

Sensible advice
I used my shielding gas (argon/co2 mix) on it's side for years and had loads of ridiculous health warnings from 'experts'.
