I'll ask this here as its a gas thingy
Do bottles have to be upright,could they still function just as well if they were horizontal,i'm talking about welding gas CO2 and Argon mix.
On the fittings side are or could quick release fittings the same you use or thereabouts for compressed air or is there something out there more special etc.
The reason i ask is this,i do a bit of MOT welding for a good friend,i can use his gas no problem,to save me fiddleing about with the key/spanner and lifting the Y bottle off the back of my welder could i say have it on some brackets hanging off the wall etc,same with his at the other end,call it plug and play if you like?
