Evening all,
Seen a few threads/posts on here of people making wood burner stoves from old propane/butane bottles, it seems a cracking idea but a couple of questions are nagging at me.
Firstly, when the 'door' is cut in to the bottle is there a risk of any remnants in the bottle exploding from the grinder sparks?
Also, do these heaters have a tendency to get very hot even down to the base? I.e. would the legs get so hot that if they were on a wooden floor then the wood might begin to smoulder/catch light?
Sorry if the questions are a little daft, just trying to gauge how possible this project is.
All the best,
Toby
