I like the disclaimer, not to copy if your not professionally qualified. Should that be "Dont copy if your not professionally qualified to saw up gas bottles with a angle grinder in a jig likely to crush your your fingers between the bottle and frame when it spins too fast"
One wonders how you get certification in this? Survive the first 20 cylinders and get a cert?

It's strip that is magnetic, wrap it round stuff, run the plasma alongside... Clear?

I have some magnetic strip I use for removable signs but it's not strong enough to run against. Does it not affect the cut?

No it doesn't effect the cut bud, I bought a 10 metre strip from fleabay. It's about 20mm wide. The tape conforms to the gas cylinder and your just run your plasma against the edge. Ideal for flat straight lines or curved ones on gas cylinders

I tried the magnetic strip quite a while ago, but mine was only about 12mm wide and did not "stick" very well. May have to look for some wider strip. "If i was to cut gas bottles" I have a cheapy lazy susan type thing bought from a £1-00 shop. Set the bottle level, attached plasma to adjustable arm and cut the bottle while turning it by hand,

Does plasma cutting create toxic fumes cutting through heavily galvanised gas bottles ?

Galvanised fumes when cutting or welding should be avoided at all times, wear an appropriate mask

the clamps on the table in this pic are "theoretically" used for clamping beer kegs from underneath tightend up through the handel holes
the motor which is not on it at the mo chain drives the sprocket tacked on the back of the handle

The " rubberised " magnetic strips are freely available on Ebay, they come in various widths and lengths, its the sort of thing that you find on fridge magnets.
