I feel your pain, I did the same with a shed….i think I can slip some lengths of weed matting between the runners which should help!

Salt may well be useful, but it will spread sideways and it is long lasting. Do we have any idea of how much salt gives a good effect without being excessive?

when i worked for B&Q on the hiab i delivered about 35 ton of gravel to one guy...he bought the cheapest he could possibly get when in reality he wanted the fancy white stuff...i clearly couldnt contain my face when 2 weeks later we delivered 14 tins of white paint to his house to be told he was going to tip them out onto the gravel and mix it about...we also found out he didnt own a wheel barrow, but obviously needed one and was renting one every saturday...would have been cheaper to buy one th eprice he was paying to rent it

Strim the grass down and then sprinkle on wild flower seed mix to make it look deliberate

As each square of the grid is like a dot matrix display, plant deliberately so the colours spell something appropriate.

Using a standard bucket how much water to salt to fairy liquid should be mixed??

I have a large mound of broken concrete in one corner of the garden that springs all types of tough weed and vegetation and looks really unsightly.

The plan one day is to remove it all and level but not now, I just want to prevent the incessant growth, hence the reason for my question.

What would be the best ratio?
