The OP is gonna find out.....Salt may well be useful, but it will spread sideways and it is long lasting. Do we have any idea of how much salt gives a good effect without being excessive?
Or green paint.....Lay artificial grass over the gravel...solves the grass cutting problem!
when i worked for B&Q on the hiab i delivered about 35 ton of gravel to one guy...he bought the cheapest he could possibly get when in reality he wanted the fancy white stuff...i clearly couldnt contain my face when 2 weeks later we delivered 14 tins of white paint to his house to be told he was going to tip them out onto the gravel and mix it about...we also found out he didnt own a wheel barrow, but obviously needed one and was renting one every saturday...would have been cheaper to buy one th eprice he was paying to rent itOr green paint.....![]()
