Its a bar bender, I had been after one for a while and there is a firm on Ebay sometimes has them listed, I noticed one had no bids and finished at 2.30am so stayed up and sat with my finger on the button and did a snipe bid for £40, great bit of kit and the bargain of a lifetime....although wife did not appreciate being woken to be told of my win

Cheers Norm, it keeps tidy because I have a 12ft x 8ft shed as well, all my hoarded stuff lives there.

I guessed that's what it was - I'd quite like one of those, so I'll keep an eye open on Flea Bay!

This is the seller who listed it, they used to put one on every week or so.

Followed the link, aha it is the chinese version.
Any good?
I do know people who dont approve of that use of the name.

Yes they are certainly riding on the back of the well known and respected firm, you will see I have metalcraft stuff under the bench, not cheap items but they can't be beat for quality and ease of use.

I am surprised metalcraft don't report them for using the brand name, Ebay are very quick to respond to 'brand' linking if it's a registered brand name.

The 'metalcraft' copy stuff they sell is nowhere near the quality of the original metalcraft stuff (mate bought some) the bar bender however has proved to be excellent.

Max I have bent is 75mm x 6mm flat and it managed that ok, after a year of use there is no wear on the leading edge.
