I make it a habit now to buy a 10mm socket every time I go out.
I like the idea, my other workshop was organised, it's about having storage space, and that old gem, a place for everything, and everything in its place. Which currently eludes me.I'm in the 'I like it organised' camp.
It helps me to make sure I've got all my tools back together once I've finished a job and give them wipe over ready for next time
In my apprenticeship days we used to call that skiving !Been trying to convince one of our young engineers to do that! Doesn't help he doesn't seem to be able to see whats smack infront of him either . . . making him go for a wander around the place (big place!) to find another . . .
My workshop, one bench covered in 4" s of sawdust, the other a clutter of stuff I haven't found a place for.
The French have an expression, a tidy workshop, is a workshop where nothing gets done.

I agree with MetalMonkeyTidy workshop and clean tools for me too.
I've mentioned before, but I will often clean up the workshop and use it as thinking time.
I can never focus properly when I'm working in a pigsty with tools and parts everywhere although it does happen.
DittoI agree with MetalMonkey
I like to tidy up after working too, even if I'm working on the same project the next day. Gives me a chance to check my tools and make sure everything is where it needs to be.
