Quoted £895 per ton +vat for galvanising to have a trailer frame done. Is that the going rate or does it seem excessive?
That's another thing, don't actually know. Would need to take to a weighbridge. Maybe 200kg?what does it weigh
I'll have all the holes drilled before it goes near a galvaniser. That is first and only price I have to date, just wonder how it compares with other places?
That sounds more reasonable, will try other places.Very.
£350-00 per tonne we pay, all in. A bit less for structural steel.
45' artic collection £35-00 each way.
It's pretty damn sturdy (even without the additional front and side bracing that I've still to add) sorta hope it won't?You would have to allow for a bit of buggerance on that, they would need to be very careful when stringing up that trailer frame/chassis to avoid distortion.

"Bent"? Or welding stresses coming out in the heat of the process?15 years ago I made a ifor type trailer 20’ long
They smacked me for £1000 even back then and bent it
Seems to be independent. Is your local plant one of the wedge group, or an independent?
