For me, I've found Parkertools to be cheapest for bolts.
I use orbital if I'm up Watford way and find ourselves short
Precision profiles are not quite as cheap but do have the more obscure sizes.
I don't know about others, but we tend to rationalise our bolt lengths .
I buy fully threaded (set bolts) which cover a multitude of lengths I.e M16 x 50 will cover say 35mm to 50mm , then it's a 70 long to cover 55-70 etc.
When I was an apprentice, we used to write out bolt lists telling the erector what length bolt to use on each connection. Then you would order them in 5mm length increments.
After spending a few months on site, you saw that they pretty much used what they had in their pouch at the time. We were forever reordering bolts , god knows where the ones they didn't use ended up
