I do like carver clamps and must admit to collecting them, I even have a pair that are bzp finished! But for heavy use I have these, brought from man who thought they were D shackles. I've tried googling the names but no luck and I have only see a few for sale since. Well worth getting if you see them. The photo shows 3.5", 4.1/4" and 5.1/4" clamp with a standard duty 300mm carver.

Stumbled across a load of these laying in the bottom of a ditch besides a road along with a few other bits of gear. Obviously been stolen from somewhere and then stashed went to the local police but nothing had been reported and gave them my number but never heard anything back. Still.. they are in safe hands now

I'm also a fan of the bessey clamps. Their heavy duty versions are nice. On the topic of clamps I also have a very nice "strong hand" right angle clamp. It was a birthday present and I shudder to think what it would cost.

Now this is a rail clamp these are used to clamp plates to defect rail or defect welds, we torque these up to 750 lb/ft
