G clamp missing feet

I have a fair selection of G clamps but as you know you can never have too many
Now some have missing feet, so I need to replace them on the cheap so any ideas? I can't believe no one on Ebay etc sells just the feet?

Just thought some bloke in China would be flogging them cheap, the Cromwell ones work out expensive

work your hourly rate out at work then if u make them u will be working for peanuts or pay a few quid and buy them

Just drill a slip fit, blind hole in a metal disc and then lightly peen/punch the top of the hole once the ball is in it.

I made some on the lathe by copying the originals. It took ages as I even put the taper on the back. They worked well but the next ones will be a simple disc without the taper.

I once made one which was a simple disk, no taper. In fact, it had a washer tacked to the back so was hardly a nice affair, but it's done a lot of work and never was a problem.
Making a fancy tapered job looks nice but doesn't really seem necessary.

I made a smaal batch a few years ago for my own missing ones, no profit though, reckon on £3/4 each.

Hi winchman Working on a peanut budget at college I used saw off the discs from bar ,cut lengths of tube to fit the ball weld them to the disc cut a few slots in the tube heat it a bit and tap it round the ball . they lasted ages and would stand the rough use of students . That only applies if you actually have paying work you could otherwise be doing.
