fusion 360 extruding an image?

so, ive got some things to print that ideally want an image on them, extruded out of the base. nothing fancy, just lines that stand out from the base.

i have the image, is there an easier way to make the image useful other than importing it as a canvas then using spline points to trace around each section i want to extrude?

pic below is one of the ones to do, although needs modifying a bit, they are all similar to this one

I don't use Fusion, but I'd be tempted to load that into something like Inkscape and use its trace feature to turn it into a vector graphic. You'd then be able to export the vector graphic from Inkscape as a DXF and I'd assume Fusion would be able to extrude the result.

As above except just trace in Inkskape and save as SVG then insert SVG in fusion then extrude and scale to suit.

There are online image to .stl converters, which are worth trying.

Right...thanks to hood for the file, massively helpful.

I have also downloaded inkscape and dear got that makes things easier...think I counted 6 clicks and it was ready to import to fusion and scale/extrude.

For anyone interested, I'm making fuel pump wedges to hold the lever open to make filling 600 litres at a time a bit easier, but the ones on offer already didn't tickle the pickle of the lad that wanted it, so I've drawn my own and it's currently printing...needless to say I now have a few lads wanting them with different designs so having inkscape is going to massively cut down on drawing time now

This is the original request, there are now a few more designs to draw and if there is a market for slightly comical ones over the plain versions available I may print some in batches for eBay and use the funds to go towards a snazzy little laser cutter that the Mrs said I don't need
