Full length copper coated MS rods

Guys

I have been asked to make another "armature" for a sculpture, similar size to the one I did last year (below) but a man this time. Its for an arts trail in East London.

I've just about run out of 3 foot, 2.4mm copper coated MS rods, I think I got them from my dad when he gave me all his oxy acetylene kit.

Looking at several sources, it seem that most are cut down to 18", the 3 footers were good for making lots of rings the same size, just wind them around a pipe and cut, perfect for the arms.

Any idea where I can get the full size ones from? Ideally on-line as I'm short of time at the moment.

Don't know what you want but brundles do copper coated MS in small diameters in 6 and 8 foot lengths 25Kg bundles.

Would OA gas rods do?

Thanks guys, yes OA rods are find, they were what I was using

The only problem is that neither site mentions how long they are rapid welding or Brundles on line, I shall have to ring them up. All the ones on the bay of thieves are either 330, 445 or 495mm long as far as I can see.

They're three foot Andy. The ones on the evil bay are cut down for postage but a proper welding shop sends them unmolested.

The new sculpture is male not female, the female had large mammalian protruberences, its only right that the male should show off his wares too, I think 3 foot should just about do it
