Full bottle pressure?

Was just wondering what a full bottle of argon would read on the pressure gauge.

I have a chest high bottle that my local company fills for me and wanted to make sure I was getting as much as im charged for.

I generally get 230 bar in the BOC 'free shoes' (size Y) bottles for argon and argon mix. Not sure if the larger bottles are at the same fill pressure (or whether you are very short).

size W (full size) is 230 bar, same as Y and X. That size should last forever- I get 2 15kg reels of 1 bottle!

Ok cheers for that, last time they "filled my bottle" it was only up to 180 bar. I can have a word with them about it

You can't get the full pressure when refilling unless you use a bank of cylinders to equalise the pressure drop.
If they are doing it "off-account" & not taking the p*** on price I would be happy & grateful of the service.

Well first time round they provided me with a chest high bottle (Y size?) and filled it to 180 bar with pure argon for £60 with no hire fees. They said now you have a bottle and we can refill it when you need more.

Reasonable I guess
