I have been asked to print a replacement fuel cap, however as yet I am incapable of designing any complicated parts or threads.
Would anyone be able to help with it? Specifically a female threaded cylinder, would allow me to do the rest although if you can do the whole part, thats great too.
I might add a slight undercut at the top to retain a flat tpu sealing disc. I'll print it in petg.
Appears to be a 6mm pitch bottle profile thread, 61mm OD
25mm deep. Not the best tape measure but I make it 6mm pitch.
Who knows? I asked for some better measurements..
I make that 61mm OD
I think this one, 65mm, is the bottom lip and can be ignored.
ID, 52mm, dont think its needed..
Half pitch.. I make that 3mm, so 6mm pitch.
Anyway I believe its for an old TW wood chipper, they are no longer available for this design and the modern ones dont fit.
Thanks
