Hello,
i have got a fridge compressor, that i plan to use as a vacuum pump. I have heard that the compressor oil is hydroscopic and should be replace with standard compressor oil.( i have lots of it )
to drain oil do i just tip compressor on its side/upside down until all the oil has drained?
how do i refill the compressor with oil? do i just pour it down the outlet pipe or what?
i may have to regularly top it up as these compressors spew out a lot of oil which i intend to filter out of the air output and put back in the compressor.
basically i am saying how do i put oil into a fridge compressor...
Any help much appreciated.
Jim
