Last Sunday I woke up to find my route up to high street conned and taped of by police investigating an incident, I have heard various rumours, now just read the official news, freak accident is an understatment, they don,t mention car, which was a beamer Z3.........to survive the dangers of Afghanistan and leave this planet in the unfortunate way this lady did, just aint fair....

Some years ago a cousin of mine died in a car accident too, he was a fighter jet pilot. He was from Edinburgh.

I read on the BBC website that the husband had changed the tyre for the spare, as he had seen a "bulge in the tyre". He must be feeling like sh*t. Poor woman, that's no way to go.

Yes correct, the guy put on the space saver tyre and, because they were going to be touring scotland, they had considerible luggage with them, turns out the faulty tyre would not fit the space for the now fitted space saver tyre, hence the fatal decision to carry faulty tyre on the deceased ladies lap.

With hindsite and, I reckon if something similar happened to me and I had to change tyre, release the pressure on problem tyre before storing anywhere in vehicle.

Just shows, dunnit when its your turn an all, what a tragic and sad accident.

Just shows how pointless 'space savers' are. If the spare was of a decent size then they could have done a straight swap then had it fixed later.
