Thought a few would find this interesting
Do like the main rcb. Much better than our setup

I don't like it id rather have the db using a 100amp main switch and instead of mcb use rcbo on each circuit. then if you have a fault on the wiring it will only take 1 circuit out not 5 or 6 through the rcd .an other reason is on fault finding you have to disconnect all the neutrals on the bar to locate faults which is a pain. using rcbo you don't need to because there double pole
Be aware some rcbos are not double pole.
Yes but I can't remember which ones
Also some switch fuse spurs aren't double pole either.
fusebox are a good make of db and well priced as well as there rcbo https://www.gil-lec.co.uk/fusebox-rtamb20-mini-rcbo-20amp-a-type
Rcd cut out is good allthough i bet they don't last as long as a simple fuse, i wonder where the cost of maintaining them plus a mark up is added on?
Cant see the point its only really protecting the meter tails to the db, i would personally rather see a cartridge and an isolator.
work still can be done just take out the tails from the old db and fit Henley blocks if there not long enough to go in to the new db .tape the ends and do them live once done what is to do workwise with them you have isolation at the db mains switchIt allows work to be done without breaking any security seals, that was the advantage I saw
