bought these in france few weeks ago anvil is 16" across top cost 20euro devilbliss gun 8Euro best buy I think is the swager 6" throat 30 euro about £24

how could I resist at that price

The hardy hole is the square hole in the top for tools like a hot hardy and doming tools. The round hole is a Pritchel hole by the way. As for a mounting block, you stab it into a tree stump/similar.
