That spoked wheel on the left is nowt to do with the lathe, btw, so looks like that's another piece of machinery there. Can't see a flywheel protruding at the headstock plinth, so the treadle parts are possibly nonexistent any more. Take a photo of the saddle, next time you're there. That's definitely modified. Can't see any facility for the cross slide either, so it may have had some funky adaptation done, (possibly a saddle modified and fitted from a different machine), as the tooholder is mounted to something.



35k they raised from the sales of his items. He had alot of machinery tractors vintage cars etc.. some place for a engineering business or small business in that sense. Great spot with 10acres of land
