I didn't..
It does actually make me feel much better knowing I am not alone . And it would appear not the onset of something sinister. Hopefully just old age and learning new tactics and measures to solve the problem .
Such as buying parts to do a job and having them sit there for 6 months because wife stashes them in a large box. (Out of sight out of mind) or I even have some thi ga in plain view and they become part of the furniture, view and just become ignored...lol
I am trying with lists but I really have not found a suitable simple system we can all use.
I purchased a Nest in the hope she can see lists on that only to find the Ring system does not show live and while testing I found the delay is enough to miss deliveries ,even if the courier is clever enough to press the bell and not knock 7 bells out of the door (that we cut hear if away , out or down the garden. Lol
So we keep.looking for the best solution.

I don't think it notifies by PM, it notifies by adding an alert into the list under the bell icon in the top right of the window. If you don't go through all of the alerts on one visit, they disappear (and hence you can miss new posts on threads you're watching and also miss the reminder to pay your tenner). I just added an annual reminder into my google "calendar" so I get a reminder every year independent of the forum message. I rely on google calendar reminders for basically everything these days.

Not wanting to sound like Scrooge but do we know where the cash goes ? I mean there are a couple of forum sponsors contributing an unknown amount (to us anyway ) .As well as individual contributions
