Actually they do.. as it's only an opinion (unlike speeding in the pitlane) etc.Stewards issued a penalty... they always do that to the driver that was right, without fail
Actually no. Unless you are ahead, your opponent "has the corner" which makes it your job to keep out of his way, he can choose whatever line he likes. Once you're ahead, yes, it is the guy who has been overtaken who must then take avoiding action.
Le clerc did not have to go off. He tried to brake later and ran out of grip.We will have to see what Lewis says but even though the "penalty" was obviously so trivial for almost killing an opponent, he was adjudged to have made a mistake which caused a crash.
Lewis did not have the line, it was not his corner. He was behind Max and tried to bail out too late. even then he still ran wide himself.
"All Max had to do was not drive into him" well how is he going to do that without disappearing or driving off the track to keep out of the way - which is exactly what Leclerc had to do when Hamilton decided to use that same corner to prove a point.
I only caught the start…. Was bored by the time the red flag came outI think I'll be getting my motor racing thrills from BTTC and MotoGP in future, F1 has lost its appeal for me.
Way too much raz-ma-taz and Americanisation, I did wonder how they were going to fill 2.50 hours of pre-race coverage. Answer? Give Tom Cruise far to much air time![]()
