Reverse grid order would make for a great race with the fastest starting last.
The FP sessions might be boring for the punters but I have a feeling that the teams might be working their socks off .What's not to believe about the truth?
FP sessions for hours were boring af, and too much data makes the races too predictable, that's why they shortened practice sessions to an hour as well.
Instant chaos ! Do you imagine that the strategists in the teams won't find ways of gaining an advantage and you wouldn't get a straight race . I think some folk should watch the "demolition derby" meetings if all they want is 'excitement'. Nothing wrong with that just different.Reverse grid order would make for a great race with the fastest starting last.
That would be better.....BUT it depends on the track. Tracks with no passing opportunities would be a joke but even tracks with passing 14 laps (even 18) are just not long enough .Reverse grid order would make for a great race with the fastest starting last.
So true... And it could just as easily been Max who lost out just down to milliseconds, backing up and LUCK.I think the cars need to be smaller again so there is room to overtake. A reverse grid may sound exciting but if cars cannot overtake because of dirty air and dirty track it will still be a precession, thats pretty much what this weekends sprint race was. How many drives changed position from qualifying? Hamilton could not make his places back.
You have hit the nail squarely on the head. That is what it is ALL about nothing to do with "sport" in any shape or form.pretty sure the only reason they're doing this is to line their pockets more
more "racing" - more money
I also hate qualy on a friday
If they try reverse grid position that will prove once and for all ,as if we didn't know already, that it's just a new form of circus just to please the masses and make a profit. Whats next ? Make the ODD numbers go clockwise and the EVEN numbers go anticlockwise. Stupid but who knows?I think the cars need to be smaller again so there is room to overtake. What disgusting actions from Verstappen. Just gone to base level IMHO. Just petulant and never even went to check if Hamilton was ok.Well I’m enjoying Monza so far !
That ted has got to go though he’s on some other planet.
True although Lewis pitstop seemed just a second or so longer too .. which would have made the difference. The slow motion replay was pretty scary. What disgusting actions from Verstappen. Just gone to base level IMHO. Just petulant and never even went to check if Hamilton was ok.
All caused by a garbage pit stop from Redbull.
Definately a different race. Not sure I would call it amazing. Overtaking still not easy due to skinny wings and DRS not aiding it as much .MCLAREN 1-2!!!!! finally! so many painful years of being a mclaren fan, it feels good
amazing race
absolutely, i'm just biased lol. If max and lewis didn't crash out, but max still had the long pit stop then that would have been much more interesting. The mclarens were ahead before they collided and I don't think they would have got past too easily anyway.Definately a different race. Not sure I would call it amazing. Interesting what sort of comments we get about team orders because it was McLaren's and not the normal 2. I would probably have said it would have been an amazing race if Lando and Danny Ric had been duking it out.
That's what was more disappointing to be honest.absolutely, i'm just biased lol.
