Forming flat bar on edge.

I am look to take a flat bar and form a curve on it for an arch. 2m x 30mm x 3mm. It will be on edge. I don't have a great heat source, so what is best way? Cut slots and open, then fill in weld and grind?
Would it actually bend with enough heat, without distorting.
The radius of the 2m length is about 100mm higher at crown than at the ends.

You should be able to get that rolled.

I've cold rolled 3 x 30 and 5 X 30 msf on edge in my stakesey's floor standing roller: I've had 3.3 & 6.3mm slots 12mm deep machined either side of my 1¼" die set.
In the 3 X 30 it took me about a dozen or so passes to get a 500mm radius (1000mm diameter) semi circle from a piece about 1800 long...... you need a bit extra at each end for the start and finish.

If you have an anvil you can just cold hammer one edge over the full length to stretch it, no heat required.

I've pulled 25x3 the hard way round a former by hand with no heat.
You might be able to do the same with 30x3..
It does try and lift and twist as it's draged round though.

Thanks guys. I can try it myself and if I fail, will take to fabricators. They have rollers.
