Sure there are a few on her that can advise.
I hat should I be paying roughly for a loler inspection on a forklift and service ?

All new to me, dawned on me mine has ran out on the BOSS I acquired last October.

just to say if it's on private prop with no employee's u dont need it....

CHeck with your insurance as some insurance companies offer a discounted or even free loler service.

£150 - £300 + VAT is about the range you should be looking at for LOLER, not including servicing. Lower end if the tester can schedule in with other customers in your area, so worth checking with local units who they use and try to get booked in to the same schedule.

I assume from your post the forklift is the only item you have needing inspection - if you had a few items you may be able to negotiate a day rate.

Yeah is just the forklift.
Is only me.
Literally only bought it to move machines into unit and have since used to shift a few cars.
TBH I’m going to sell it I reckon. Only paid 3k for it delivered, it’s been a great machine though and starts first time every time. I

do you employ anyone? if you're the only one using it, and there's no one else around, then there's no loler needed

made no difference to my liability insurance having forklifts

mine are tested, but it's a waste of time, just a box ticking exercise

plus... when we have an hse inspection, they don;t care about the results of it etc.... just that you have the test... which is total bs to me but it is what it is

If it's only you, then for peace of mind and audit trail, put a checklist together and do the inspection yourself. If you don't have a manufacturers inspection schedule, refer to a course like the one linked below for an idea of the checks that should be carried out.

Presumably you're reasonably tech-savvy, and have an interest in ensuring your own safety, so worth just having the piece of paper tucked away once a year to record a detailed inspection has taken place.

Just me no one else using it. I she. Employers but they are on sites (electrical contractor) this is for the workshop that only i use.
