not a lot at all at sales or autojumbles .eblag might jump the price up on it a bit if u were buyng there or selling as theres one born evey minute and pay over the odds. i wouldnt pay more than 40 quid for it

I've seen similar ones go for £100-£150 - not that I think that's what it is worth, just I've seen that. That looks like a piece of pipe as a tuyere rather than anything fancy (not that I think I've seen a water cooled tuyere on a forge that small).
TBH, they're not difficult to build - the blower is the only critical part (think volume rather than airspeed). I've forged with barbecues and a hair dryer before now (not ideal!) and even a hole in the ground (which was a much better forge than the bbq).

Machinery auction at murton, nr york, or there's one at thirsk.
They come up quite regularly, in various sizes.
As PS_Bond says, they're easy enough to make.
Bottom 9-12 inches of a propane cylinder, scaffolding pipe led in from the side.
I've found the best blowers are from bouncy castles.
They can be picked up for around £50 quid new on the bay.
I have two that I paid about a fiver each for at the carboot (seperately), usual price
second hand is 15-25 quid.
Just remember to choke the air flow on the input side, not the output.

Not a bad idea useing the bottom off a gas bottle, could get one together in a hour or two.
I'm thinking about haveing go at makeing vintage looking iron work for horse drawn carts. I've been making parts useing modern techniques but they don't look the same as parts made with a fire and hammer.

Sheesh. BABA used to (don't know if they still do) advocate chip extractors like this - http://www.axminster.co.uk/axminster-axminster-awde5002-extractor-prod725305/ - but your idea is much less expensive. They'll drive a full-size hearth though.
It's a whole different way of looking at steel once you treat it like plasticine
(And I'm not going to mention the practice of dressing arc/MIG welds in the forge so they look forge welded!)

Those sort of forges are only good for forging the ends of bars or horseshoes, the fire sits a bit low for anything else, the same will apply if you use the bottom of a propane bottle. This design is a about as good as you can get for a backyard forge http://www.blksmth.com/forge_my_portable.htm I use an old extractor fan wired to an ancient speed controller for my blower.

The fans I have are like this
which are 680W vs the 750w of the axminster one you mentioned.
They'll blow the coals out of a forge if you use one at full blast thru a single
tuyere - plenty powerful enough for a full size hearth two or three tuyeres

I built my own forge, I use an inline 4" fan, not a little extractor one it is the fat type that blows about 180M3 I made a choke for it on the inlet, I made the forge using 4mm plate for the fire pot (13 x 16 cm base and 20 x 30 cm at the top of the fire pot) and 1mm sheet for the table, I covered that in an inch of castable refractory, it works great, I can get a good welding heat in it, I have run it on blacksmiths breeze as well as anthracite beans, both work well. Only downside of the castable refractory is that the clinker from the coal and coke sticks to the refractory and if the clinker is removed to harshly it can chip pieces out if the refractory, but I just fill the chips every now and then with the refractory I had left. The best place I found for the refractory as well as burners for gas forges (which is my next venture) and other parts is castree kilns, good on prices and postage costs are good... HTH
