Were the old Fordsons the really nippy ones ? I remember following one on my way to work and when I looked at the speedometer I was doing nearly 40mph.
Great rebuild , your photos have given me some inspiration , just bought a Ford 4000 tractor digger so not vintage like yours but also not exactly new ( think its about 1965 and everything is probably knackered on it ) . I will be starting a project thread and looking for advice , main concern at the moment is it being addicted to easy start which I am told may be terminal although I am not sure exactly what it damages .
