i have the laser version of this tool and it cost me twice what that tool cost, will get back to you with dimensions

Thanks for that. Looks simple enough to knock one up. Did it work OK btw? As I understand you just have to undo the two bolts and drop the end of the arm a little?

small bust tool is OD 58mm ID 47mm H 70mm
Large bush tool is OD 72mm ID 54mm H 70-74mm (Slants on the top)
Tool main ID 66mm internal lenght 165mm

Was trying to do a drawing in sketchup but met with failure

Did it work well yes but i had to drop the rear subframe all the bolts will be seized in all the arms and i couldnt pull the trailing arm down to get the tool in place

Forgot to dimension the depth of the cut on top of the left part was about 3mm and everything is central should have put center lines on

Cheapest seen £66 delivered wouldn't like paying that for a one off use.
Think you can improvise on a suitable cheaper tool even if it only installs the £20 bush, best of luck.

Just done an old Golf 123k 13 yrs old nothing corroded never been apart quite easy with just an install tool that needed modding, think made my mind up on next motor.

Thanks for this. Luckily I've already done the rear drop links and two short arms either side. Some grinding WAS required! At least they should undo OK as I re-assembled with anti-seize.....wish Ford had!

Put another few £ to the price of the tool and you can buy yourself a 3/4" drive socket set plus a few lengths of 12 and 16mm studding. Then you can make up a bush removal tool to suit many applications!
