I love the look of the side exits! Just caught this thread, looking forward to watching from the beginning.
Very slightly OT but I've recently been watching Kindig Customs (aka Bitchin' Rides) on the telly and they do some really nice stuff with exhausts (amongst other things).
Ha thanks all. the side exhaust is almost a must, I have very little way to get them out the back when I sort the bumper out, not to mention it would cost me a fortune in bends. Plus side exhausts look awesome, and this latest iteration when the side skirt is on should look more than subtle enough to get away with the “sleeper” look considering it now has wider arches and a phat ass. I tend to say this a lot because I know posting things to the internet has the side effect of pulling opinions from everywhere. but trust me, For the most part I know what I’m doing and I know what I want to achieve lol. if it ends up looking poop at the end of it we can always change it around and I’ll happily eat some humble pie

Yeah it doesn’t fill me with confidence, but when it’s all clamped up it finds it’s strength somehow. Thought about putting a bar across that big hole in the back for additional side impact protection but I don’t think I will
You going to throw this at an MOT, when it's finished? Street legal? How does DVLA view this? You probably know some people? Wife's cousin works there. I'm not criticising your skills in any way. At all. But can you do all this and bang it through an MOT and drive out the other end? Specialist insurance? Not critical, just curious? Amazing work mate, must buy some cleeco clamps for my projects. Just keep doing it! Shame your videos don't come out on Sundays to liven up dull sundays. Nothing but repect.
That flush-exit pipe is gonna burn your paint off at speed, as I discovered on my bike when I cut the turbo dump pipe too short.
No it won’t, it’s not part of the exhaust it also won’t be getting that hot. I’ll see if I can get a better picture for everyone to explain.
I could smash them out on Sunday’s but youtube tells me most people watch on a Monday Tuesday and Wednesday evening. All about that view time lol. next week may be delayed anyway as I haven’t even edited it yet lol
