ya your right, anyway ill stripp it down someday. can ya turn the pistons off the engine via the pto if the engine is off and pto is in gear or do i need to jack up the back wheels, and put it into a high gear and turn the wheels. took and engine a part and rebuilt it this week as part of my mechanical engineering course in sligo it, fk all in engines really
dont bother trying to turn the engine over off the pto, you could be there all day, and no need to jack it up either, just turn the engine off the bottom pulley bolt (out of gear obviously).
The advantage to this is that you are right there and can see when no 1 comes to tdc etc, doing it off the back wheels you will be forever running backwards and forwards.
