Local chap has bought one of these, I saw it today and it really is a thing of much beauty. Limited edition world-wide of 100 iirc.

He's bought the bare frame and intends building his own bike, with [and I think I've got this right
'cos I don't 'do' bikes] electronic gear-change with wi-fi, operated by stepper motors? The only things going from the frame to the rear of the bike will be the brake actuating cables, linked to hydraulic discs.
Ignoring costs [each to his/her own and it's his money, after all]
, it's a project I told him I want to see finished.......

I remember c. 30 years ago my nephews thought nothing of spending £800-1,000 on a bike, nothing changes.
. Cables on my road bike have always been fine though.
