Great, I went into temu to get this, now I’ve 45 quid worth of ****e on its way, thanks !

It can be addictive at times, wait until you find the Tungsten mills/lathe turning tips and loads of other stuff, but Temu will tempt you with the emails.......Oh those E-MAILS......

And then there's "8ob" posting up links to pipe straighteners, another purchase yet to arrive in the next few days.......

For 50+ years I've struggled to get brake/bundy pipe straightened off of the roll and then a simple link........

It doesn't help being on a tool based forum....

usually just blast it all off with the airline (being cautious) and sweep it up off the floor, although half of it seems to vanish

Your first order comes with warnings as they do stupidly cheap prices on your first order.
You end up adding loads and loads as you will not get those prices again.

I keep the mills/tips in my "Wants List" and check every so often to keep an eye on the prices, often the prices drop or special offers appear.

I often buy indexable tips by the 50+/100 at a time. Aliexpress/Temu are my preferred supplier these days for general tips...

Can't believe how extravagant you lot are!
Homemade versions, been in use for 10+ years. Larger one a piece of 20mm conduit with a 15mm plastic water pipe which has a piece of metal wedged in the end and a magnet from an old hard drive stuck to it. Little one for tight spots is a chopstick in a biro

Often as in I've purchased various styles of tooling and sizes/tips, lathe tooling and milling.

I probably won't have to order tips for year (or more) now, but I prefer to pay out and have stock than pay stupid money for a box of 10 or less.

The far eastern tips may not be as good as the high end european suppliers but they don't cost the same, if purchased in bulk on special deals.

Also I cut/mill/turn welded up stuff at times, which I find can hammer tips.
