So brother inlaw and I disagree which is the more usefull , either a tri lever with gearbox , or super 7 with gearbox and power cross feed. your thoughts
Myford is so tiny, cross feed
A colchester....A boxford

A boxford
Lovely chap was John, he popped in once to show me the mods he'd done to a Myford tailstock to make it lever actuated. Really ought to get that project finished.I miss the late John S for his blatant honesty about Myford's being overpriced wet noodles, while still making and selling various parts for them.
how about doing a thread on the tail stock mods ?Lovely chap was John, he popped in once to show me the mods he'd done to a Myford tailstock to make it lever actuated. Really ought to get that project finished.
My Super 7 has a gearbox but no crossfeed it's the most capable lathe I can fit in my workshop as everything comes through the house.
you just need bigger doors in the house ?Lovely chap was John, he popped in once to show me the mods he'd done to a Myford tailstock to make it lever actuated. Really ought to get that project finished.
