After some help I've just bought a parweld xtt212... But have a pedal from my old welder.. The parweld comes with a spare control plug so until I save some money to maybe buy a new pedal thought I might try and wire up the old one to work..
The picture below is the diagram from the parweld manual I have a couple of questions which are probably stupid but I'm not great at electronics and pretty new to welding... if someone could help
Question one. I take it 4 on the diagram will be connected to 2 on the pot.. But can 3 and 5 on the diagram be connected to either 1 or 3 on the pot or is there a specific way round they need to go
And question 2.. This might be a even more silly one.. the micro switch I take it as its a switch it doesn't mater what way round the connections go.. Or does the wires containing the initial voltage have to go into a specific side of the switch
Thanks for any help in advance
Dan
