I did come across the leather ones before, but I'm really trying to keep the tool case as original as possible.
These ones are on an Elora socket set. I've seen them on modern Stallwilles as well. Maybe they are a German thing.

Might be, I have a similar metal box, same colour, same handle, deeper, packed full of Paslode nails at the moment.
