Hi folks,
I occasionally need to move motorbikes around for repairs and normally use a small trailer.
Was using a small box trailer that used to (just!) fit in the boot of the estate car, ideal as you didn't have to worry about trailer laws when moving the empty trailer or finding large parking spaces once you reached your destination Just lift it out of the boot and put a bike onto it
Now using a purpose built (angle-iron) motorcycle trailer which is great but it means I can't drive at 70mph on motorways, and I need to find somewhere to park it when I arrive (not always easy in a town). It also needs to secured - just to make sure it isn't stolen while I'm not watching it
Would anyone have any suggestions or links to website with ideas or plans for fold-away bike trailers? Something similar to below (but without the $1,500 price tag ) would be ideal.

Is it just a case of grinding off the welds on my current trailer and weld plates at the centre cross, so the axle & main "runner" section can be unbolted / dismantled?? This leaves 2 big pieces - any way to make the pieces smaller?
No need to fold away to tiny pieces, we have a choice of tow-cars, a mid-size hatchback or elderly estate. Either would take large chunks of trailer in the boot.
Suggestions / ideas welcome
