Good luck doing it in situ, i replaced both of mine last year, all the bolts going through the bushes had seized to couldn't lower the trailing arms to use the tool in situ, in the end i disconnected the rear anti roll bar, removed the brake calipers, disconnected the abs sensors and dropped the rear subframe

best way is drop the whole lot but most or all will be seized lots of plus-gas round all the bolts or gas axe
iv'e seen these scrapped for those bushes

Did you use the special tool for putting the bushes in again, ive a press but don't want to take all the bushes off just to get the trailing arm on its own.

don't know I changed the lot for another complete beam axle etc
from a front end damaged car that had all new trailing arm bushes etc 6 months prior to been written off paid £80 for the lot local scrappy
this may be of use some say use poly bushes to do it in situ
main problem is getting bush back in same place so as not to affect the rear tracking ford don't supply bushes only the whole arm for that reason
poly bush it just burn out the original bush you need to reuse the outer steel bush and the pin

ive the subframe out but tried a g clamp to get the bushes in but no joy, think I may have to purchase the tool
