I recently bought a Fobco 7 8 pillar drill. When I went to collect everything seemed fine & the gear lever moved freely, though I didn't spot that the previous owner hadn't put any oil in the reservoir.
I have since filled it up to the red dot with ISO 68 - as that's what a Google search told me was the modern equivelant to the Shell Vitrea 33 oil is specified on the side - but the gear lever is occassionally stiff & sometimes doesn't engage properly & needs me to spin the machine again on its current gear before trying the lever again.
What can I do to prevent this becoming a big problem? I don't know much about machinery & haven't ever taken something like this apart. Cheers
