If you haven't guessed already I am a big fan of my fobco drills. Up until now I had only read about the fobco 5/8 but never seen one. Well this just came up on eBay.

That was my first thought, someone needs to learn how to alter the direction of a motor.
Its the only logical reason i can think of.

That was the least of my worries.

Judging by some of the responses to what has been done to this Fobco, your not gonna like what's gonna happen to mine.

Am limited by space and need to get my Seven Eight closer to the wall in the garage to give me more space when the Disco is being worked on so the motor is going to be relocated above the column


I'm pretty sure I can do a better job than that eBay offering and definitely will not be hacking the original Fobco belt guard, might use gutter bolts tho

the motor would be reversible but obviously the seller didn't know that and bodged it

It will definitely be reversible, might have a bigger workshop one day
