I am hoping to have a need for a fair quantity of corners on 1.6mm Ali. Then bend the sides. So I don't think I will have too much of a problem ......but I am more on a plan to kit out my workshop to tackle jobs quickly without making everything I need before each job...
So looking at youtube videos it seems like you can actually punch a lot more the I expected.

If you're ever in the W London area, you're welcome to have a play with my Flypress. Have a ton of tooling to try out, you might get hooked...
I had one and sold it mate....too big and I had no use for it. Lol
What I am trying to comb8ne is a press and press brake.

Here we go...
First up is the press. Cylinder & piston off a 16hp mower engine. 14:1 leverage gives me about 6 tonnes at 8bar. The two springs at the back return the piston and the one right at the front lifts the tooling top part. Bit of 1mm sheet showing cuts
The tooling: Hinge at the back with top section showing the tool steel piece that sheers the metal against the two lower edges. Stops are clamped to the plate to control the depth of cut. I might get round to some slots one day... Or even some paint
Seems the images got reversed, me no IT wizz.
The tooling shot is not very clear, one can see the two screws that retain the tool steel bits against the frame and one can see that it is set up to do dog leg cuts, as that is what is needed. All the bits for both efforts were out of the scrap or spares bin, so if I was doing it for someone else, I would have made the notch equal sided and bought in the cutters.
