My new one has arrived

its obvious there not going to let on that there's a whole stack of them faulty

Going by the serial numbers the quantity is huge.
I wonder what the total cost will run into, whatever its not work the risk of a claim or loss of customer confidence.

Had this email earlier today:-

You have recently registered your Fluke T110/T130/T150 Two Pole Tester(s) in order to receive a new replacement unit(s). We are currently working on getting the improved tool(s) to you, however since demand is much higher than anticipated, it is unfortunately not possible for us to send the unit within the 48-hour timeframe originally communicated. We are now estimating 1 week delay in delivery. For the actual status, please visit our website at www.fluke.co.uk/tpt-recall-status.

We greatly apologize for the delay and for any inconvenience it might cause you.

Please be assured that we are doing our utmost to replace your Two Pole tester as soon as we can.

I got that exact email , then twenty minutes later the courier brought it.
I have to admit that I was getting a little concerned but all ok now.
The dreaded Steinel Combi Check can go back into the emergency drawer where it belongs.

I received my tester yesterday then got that same email today, so looks like they have just blanket bombed the recall email list.
