Looking to get a flow meter here, I've got an oldish Clarke 170a welder, which I converted to euro torch...so nice smooth constant wire feed & control now.
I have a pub co2 bottle, and a bottle of agroshield to mess around with...they both work ok.
BUT..my welding tends to be noisy affair, not the nice bacon sizzzzle :-) more of a crackle?
Always make sure work is clean before I start, and current/wire speed is about right too....
Welds tend to be good and strong....but there's always a lot of that crackling..
Only thing I haven't tried is to fine tune gas delivery, so thinking start maybe with a flow meter???
Any advice or criticism most welcome!
Thanks!
