Flow meter advice

Hi,
Very much a newbie to welding,left my co2 bottle on by mistake and lost all gas!1 (it was unattached) have got new bottle, but flow seems to be about twice as strong, can you control this, the regulator has a flow meter, but can't see where you can adjust the flow.

Welcome to the forum.

Adjusting the pressure adjusts the flow. Are you talking about a refillable or disposable bottle?

Also check to make sure that the regulator is specifiic to the gas you are using?

Hi, thanks for the replies, sorry for the delay in getting back. The meter is for CO2, which I am using, it is in a refillable bottle, like a 'pub gas' bottle. I tried it again last night and it is definitely a lot stronger flow

By stronger do you mean the flowmeter indicates a higher flowrate or it just feels
stronger at the torch?

Are you sure it's a flowmeter (eg litres/min) and not a pressure gauge (Bar or PSI) ?

gas flow

Hi the gas feels stronger at the torch, I'll check re flowmeter but I have two 'dials' on the regulator, presume one is psi and one is flow.

Could be, or one could be bottle pressure and the other regulated pressure.
