flooring for a shed

my shed was finished a while back.
Apart from the dusty as hell sand and cement 'floor' laid by my moron builder.
Im fancying getting it fixed and covered.
Ive been wondering about used conveyor belt. there are mountains of it lying at Port Talbot. looks just the ticket. Im not thinking of borrowing it but wonder if it is any good as a cheap floor cover. Ive also wondered about cheap lino but that does look very cheap. or maybe interlocking rubber mat thingies
Size is around 4x4m.
Any thoughts?

conveyor would last forever stuck down .used in my blasting shed and still have some outside from 50 years ago and it was worn when i acquired it free

I asked this question a while ago for exactly the same reasons, maybe search under flooring as that’s what I titled the post.
I looked at the solid plastic tiles but they felt like they could be a bit slippery and maybe just too solid. In the end I used jigsaw pieced rubber tiles which I haven’t regretted yet, no good if you want to roll stuff about as they are not quite solid and kind of shift under wheels.

I'd be going the leveling compound route.....
wears very well easy to clean...

Conveyor belt!
Reading that took me back to my Northumberland childhood in the 1950's and 60's.
Every self-respecting allotment holder had a conveyor belt 'carpet' in his shed. Some scruffy types even had it on the roof.
The wash-house and outside nettie boasted conveyor belt flooring too.
Then us posh types cut it up for mudflaps for the car.

It had more uses than a dead cat.

The small amount of welding I do is always out on the drive, shed is for upholstery.
