I've tiled loads of walls, so I'm happy with the method, but I have a floor in a large room to tile. The tiles are 9mm thick and 150 wide x 1200 long.
I've had a look at a few you tube vids, seems the way to go it to find the high spot, start from there, then use a much thicker bed than wall tiling and tap them down to level. I get they need a solid bed with no voids to avoid cracking etc. Do people bother with the little spacers with the threads to nip them up flush? Seems to be that all that does is potentially lift one side off the adhesive?
The substrate is 8 year old screed. Underfloor heating if that makes a difference (Obvs off for the job, and drying time), what is the best stuff to prime? Blue grit primer seems to be the influencer's favourite??..
Thanks all.
