Co I work for has hundreds, they seem to last very well with just one service a year, over 300k is the norm.
The mechs are not very complimentary about the latest fwd versions, 12 mths old having new clutch and dmf, apparently not unusual.

for me sprinters are pretty solid to up and over 200k.... start having a pew problems after that and by 300k I don;t want to spend more money fixing them

but they're not that well looked after and (I think) thrashed a lot.... by the time they hit 300k they're battered enough that I'm not too worried anymore

I watched how they build Range Rovers for years, you would need to dismantle most of the car to get to some parts, example: the windscreen has to come out to get the roof lining out.

Not strictly true, you can get them out just not in a reusable condition. I replaced the roof lining in an old Jag a few years ago , was told the screen had to come out , removing all the seats made it possible without removing the screen

I'm not really in love with sprinters... but they're miles ahead of ford reliability wise

for all my vans, limiting them to 70mph has been the best reliability improvement by a mile, stops the drivers revving the nuts off them flat out (helped the transits more than the spinsters)

Our work vans are all satellite tracked. Operations get a ping if the van is doing something it shouldn't

Big reduction in breakdowns, speeding tickets and a huge improvement in fuel economy, time keeping and general upkeep

We have about 150 vans, all Sprinters

The biggest issue we have is the scrotes breaking into them

I own a sprinter, bit older at 2012 but it’s been perfectly reliable. Lovely to drive but not great on fuel.

At work we had Vauxhall viva rose as our fleet vans which were ok apart from the gearboxes. (I know about the time bomb of the injections ) drive nice and great on fuel. But then we went over to ford transit custom. They look fantastic but are worse on fuel horrible to drive around town (fine on the motorway) and horribly unreliable. All electrical problems on almost every vehicle on our fleet but the worst part was the dealer! The most unhelpful bunch with huge wait times to book in (not good when the van is broken down and not earning!) and really expensive for parts which was a shock. I would have thought ford parts were more inline with Toyota price wise but they were up there with (not quite as bad) BMW.

That coupled with the fact that every ford I have owned had a thirst for oil means I would never have another.
